Dr Sue Gray
I graduated in London and proceeded to general surgical and then neurosurgical training both in London and then Hong Kong.
While in Hong Kong I met my husband through my boss via a walking group!
Coming to Brisbane just after Expo 88 with a young daughter was a bit of a challenge, but retraining in general practice, proved a godsend and I have remained a GP since then.
I enjoy the challenges of general practice and the continuity of community care. Some patients I have treated since babyhood now bring their own children to see me. To keep up the surgical side of things, I also work as surgical assistant to a spinal orthopaedic surgeon.
Outside medicine I enjoy the company of my 2 daughters, choral singing, reading, travel, walking, swimming, skiing when possible, spending time with family and friends and generally enjoying life!
