As well as interests in rural medicine, I have Post Graduate Diploma qualifications in Obstetrics, Paediatrics and Skin Cancer Medicine.
During my time as a GP I have developed a deep interest in, and patient following in Skin Cancer Surgery and during the last 15 years have undertaken a post graduate training program developed and implemented by Associate Professor Anthony Dixon from Geelong and Bond University. This recently led to my achievement of a Post Graduate Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery from the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine and he is presently studying for Masters Degree in Skin Cancer Medicine with the University of Queensland.
When not practicing Medicine, I am a hopeful race horse owner and successful olive grower, with an orchard of around 700 olive trees on my property in Chinchilla.
I visit the Barracks each month and offers my services as a skin cancer proceduralist.
I was born and bred in Chinchilla, and have the experience of 5 years of hospital practice and 25 years of General Practice, both in England and in Australia, spending l0 years in Rockhampton prior to coming home to Chinchilla.
